Scope:

Used to measure load forces as well as tensile stresses, which occur when a test body is pushed into the tested material or withdrawn.

Suitable for bituminous materials, hot-applied pavement sealants & fillers and cement.

A texture analyser measures the forces, which occur when a test body is pushed with a preprogrammed speed into the tested material or pulled out.

The forces affecting the test body are measured and indicated in the form of a "displacement/force curve" or as a"force/time function".

This allows to determine information about the ageing, the maturity or the curing, as well as the estimated subsequent processing of a sample.
